Latinos for Tennessee is proud to announce the addition of Israel Ortega to its Board of Directors.
Israel possesses a wealth of experience in discussing the unique issues that affect Hispanics in the United States. He has been featured as a writer, a contributor, a spokesperson and a columnist by some of the premiere print and media outlets in our nation, including the Wall Street Journal and Fox News. He has also been a frequent guest commentator on such popular Spanish radio and television outlets as Univisión, Telemundo, and CNN International. Israel has written for El Diario, the nation’s longest running Spanish-language newspaper, and he played a vital role in the development of the Heritage Foundation’s Libertad.org, a website dedicated to providing Spanish-language research content on current policy issues.
Executive Director Raul Lopez is excited about the vast experience Israel will contribute to the group. “We are always searching for committed Latinos throughout the state who can help us in recruiting, educating and empowering the Latino community in Tennessee. We now have a powerful presence across the state, with strong leaders in the East, West and Middle Tennessee regions, and Israel’s addition to the Board further strengthens our team.”
Latinos for Tennessee is thrilled to welcome Israel Ortega to our organization as we endeavor to educate the Latino community on issues affecting faith, family, freedom and fiscal responsibility.
