Latinos for Tennessee Co-Hosts Nashville Mayoral Forum on Tuesday
Six candidates for Mayor confirmed to attend; Metro Council Candidates also confirmed

Nashville, Tennessee – Six of the seven candidates vying to become the next mayor of Nashville are set to appear before various organizations, including Latinos for Tennessee, a local non-profit dedicated to advancing faith, family and freedom for Latinos in Tennessee.

The special event begins at 6 pm on Tuesday, July 14 at Salsa Restaurant, 818 Palmer Place.

Hosted by the Two Points Club and co-sponsored by the Tennessee Republican Minority Coalition and the Williamson County Republican Women, the forum will be a great opportunity to hear from each of the candidates as they lay out their vision for Nashville, if elected Mayor.

Raul Lopez, Executive Director for Latinos for Tennessee said:

“Latinos in Nashville are looking for a vibrant economy that will continue creating jobs and economic opportunities so that we can provide for our families. Additionally, we want to hear from each of the candidates how they will ensure that every child in Nashville, particularly those from lower-income families, receive a quality education.

“Nashville’s next Mayor should keep taxes low and ensure that this is a place friendly to business -owners and entrepreneurs. And on education, expanding and not curtailing school choice will help ensure that lower income parents have a say in choosing the best type of education for their children.”
