Latinos for Tennessee Congratulates Sen. Mark Green for Appointment to be Secretary of the Army

Nashville, Tennessee – Latinos for Tennessee, an organization committed to promoting faith, family, freedom and fiscal responsibility joins the entire state of Tennessee in congratulating state Senator Mark Green, (R-Clarksville) to be Secretary of the Army. The appointment speaks to State Senator Mark Green’s remarkable career that includes serving as a rifle platoon leader, scout platoon leader, battalion personnel officer, a supply officer and an airborne rifle company commander in the famed 82nd Airborne Division.

Latinos for Tennessee is proud to consider state Senator Mark Green a friend, a supporter and long-time advisor.

Raul Lopez, Latinos for Tennessee’s Executive Director, issued the following statement upon leaning of Green’s appointment: “President Trump could not have picked a better public servant to lead our army during this critical time as our country is being tested, at home and abroad. I have no doubt that State Senator Green will excel in this new assignment and bring with him the patriotism, hard work ethic and dedication to protect our freedom and liberties for this generation and future generations,” said Lopez.

Recently, Latinos for Tennessee met with key members of the Trump White House to impress upon them the important work the group is doing in Tennessee for the growing Latino community.
