Latino families are not satisfied with the educational status quo, and Latinos for Tennessee believes that all Tennessee families should be empowered to find the best education possible for their children.

Education policy should feature competition , innovation, and accountability at the state level. All options should have a place in our education system: public, magnet, charter, private, parochial, homeschool, even online or a combination!

Tennessee’s legislature created the state’s first school choice program—Individual Education Accounts for students with special needs—in 2015, with enrollment beginning in 2017.
